Petro Gazz head coach Oliver Almadro shared that he sure saw Jia De Guzman touched the net in the final play of the Petro Gazz - Creamline Finals Game One on March 26 in the 2023 PVL All-Filipino Conference at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Almadro asked for a video review and was vindicated when it showed that De Guzman's arm touch the net, indeed, in her block attempt.

De Guzman's net touch violation clinched the match for the Angels, 25-22, 24-26, 25-23, 26-24, as they moved on the cusp of their first championship in an all-local tourney.
