A veteran of the Indian fashion industry, Ritu Kumar is a name to reckon with. She started her career in 1969 and developed a distinctive style of her own making each piece of work a recognisably Ritu Kumar creation. She began with just four hand block printers and two tables in a small village near Calcutta. Today, her eponymous brand has grown to retail through 55 stores across the country.
