Close Call for Man in Byron Bay Lightning Strike

A man in Australia’s Byron Bay got lucky twice on December 6, 2016, narrowly avoiding getting struck by lightning, and managing to capture the whole thing on video.Kris Owens, from Scotland, was traveling in Australia and, while walking home from a gig at around 2 am, got caught out in a storm</a>. In this video, Owens can be seen recording his walk home when a bolt of lighting appears to strike right over his shoulder.
