Classroom in the cinema
Description
For almost an hour on Nov 10, 2018, Hall 11 of GSC Paradigm Mall, Johor Baru, turned into a fun classroom setting for close to 150 people, comprising children from schools in the state, and their parents and teachers. The event was The Star's Newspaper-in-Education (Star-NiE) English for Better Opportunities initiative in partnership with Golden Screen Cinemas. The students took part in fun English-learning activities before they were treated to a movie – Disney's The Nutcracker and the Four Realms.
