Clashes reported in Syria after ceasefire

Fighting is reported to have broken out in Syria, a day after a UN-backed ceasefire came into effect.

According to the British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the fighting started after army troops loyal to President Bashar al-Assad were deployed to clear rebels out of the north western province of Idlib, close to the border with Turkey.
