Clashes break out between protesters and police during an anti-austerity march in Athens on Wednesday (October 5).
Police fire tear gas at stone-throwing youths in the Greek capital, where thousands of striking state sector workers marched against cuts the government says are needed to save the nation from bankruptcy.
Protesters shattered glass at the entrance of the Economy Ministry building.
Police said at least two people have been hurt.
