Clara Diskley - Running freely

Listen to me before you tell me what to do
Give me a minute or two to explain to you
What's it really like to hate every single day
but I don't complain

I get torn up when I hear all about your grades
They are so unbelievably high and more than anything
I wanted to die
Mine aren't even close to yours, even no matter how
hard I try

For hours I'd spend studying, working is all I do
The difference between us is that it's handed to you
All of those grades you have are all from luck
I'm studying so hard I'm becoming insane
Studying so much that it's killing my brain

You'll never know how hard I work, while you're out
having fun
I'm stuck here wishing I could run, get away from all
this work
I imagine running freely as fast as I want and getting out
of studying
