I can feel your presence
I know you're there
my angel boy
I can feel you shifting
your tall body
on the bench behind me
resting your elbows
inches from my head.
Your breath beats
in my ears
like thunder
I want to feel your heart beating
I know that at any precious moment
you can see me
how do you feel?
happy that I'm there
or wishing I wasn't
or afraid
or does your heart pound
with fear
and love
like mine does
