The shrilling bugles blare.
'Lest you waken unaware
The lion form his lair,
Beware, beware, beware,
When the British bugles blare.'

'O come! O come!
Sons of Britain to the drum.
There's glory wait for some
Ere the battle's din is dumb.
O come, O come, O come
To the bugle and the drum!'

'Come one, come all!'
The thrilling bugles call,
'Some may triumph, many fall,
But all are in my thrall;
Come one, come each, come all,
When you hear the bugle call!'
