The first Sunday of every month, many sites are free of charge in France. This one is only free from October through March, however. It is on the West side of Paris in Maisons-Lafitte. It is 17th c. and has a very interesting history.
I am available as a private guide or can prepare an itinerary for you. I also consult and facilitate business here in France.
Nearly all of the gardens were taken up by land development in the 19th c. and the fate of the château remained uncertain. There is a famous racetrack nearby.
