I just want to be honest
I’ve made some bad mistakes
Wonder if I held my own ground
I’ll never forget the look on your face
And as I try to come to
My senses crash and burn
Reminded how you tore out my insides
I was a game and it was your turn.

Drift away
So led astray

There won’t be a next time
There won’t be a happy ending for you
After the way you went behind my back
You think I care to go through
Playing guessing games and breathing in
The toxin of your love
Sing a song of sick remains
I won’t let you be the death of me.

Caring…
For…
Lights… after dark

This is where we’ve come to
Trying to begin again
But I won’t be fighting for your cause
Forcing you to be reminded

Focus on subsequential
Ideas of self-restraint
Been hear for you all the time
Don’t want to here your name
And as I tear the last memory
Believe I’ve had enough
Conscious of a single feeling
I still want to be loved

But not by you.
