and the moon to rise
I can't wait for the peaceful stars
to shine across the wonderous skies

I can't wait to be held
in your arms embrace
I can't wait for your gentle kiss
to light across my face

I can't wait for your soft touch
to glide across my skin
I can't wait for you to come
and light the fire within

I can't wait till we can just chill
not worrying about even a bill
I can't wait for our first night together
when we make love light as a feather
and when the night is over
and all is said and done

I can't wait till morning
where we'll lay watching the rising sun
but for now my babydoll
my love too true
tonight I'll call you and whisper 'I love you'
