Christopher Lacomba - The dagger

time heals nothing,
pain increases 10 fold,
I scream out to the bleakness,
and you stand there untold,
fire reams the darkness,
and sweeps over my soul,
I turn to you for guidance,
yet find an empty hole,
the screams I hear in the air,
are not from me to you,
the screams I hear in the air,
are coming out of you,
as I pull the dagger free,
I realize what I have done,
as I fall to my knees,
now there is only one,
one of us,
standing there in disbelief,
you look down at me,
and scream once more,
as I fall down,
once,
last,
forever more
