Christopher Lacomba - Its late

Description
to wonder why is it that we treat?
treat each other like we both expect the worst from the other?
question not why you hate, question why you care!
why do you care what i am to say,
for this shows you still love,
to love is to care,
and to care is to question
if you don't question then there is no caring about the problem on hand
and if you don't care then you don't love,
and if you don't love then you don't mind,
that i slip this knife in a little deeper just in case,
that you change your mind but its to late,
its bite is harsh its love is deep,
take my life for yours to keep,
in a pool it seeps in a pile i sleep,
crumble to the ground and the light is gone,
from these eyes that once shown so brightly,
and flashed when you would enter there sight,
now i lay me down to rest,
once is the last for ever more,
deep in this darkness i have found,
i settle in for a score or more,
the years will be long,
but are nothing compared to the loss of your heart.
