The story of my life is the same
As anyone else's -
A person trying to survive one way
or another,
Trying to be kind,
But nobody is kind or mean,
Nobody gets out of life
Having to swim through the torture
To be a part of this world
I wanted to love,
To be loved
But we all know how that goes
And if I didn't waste so much time
Chasing a dream,
Looking for a simpler place
I might have done it
