Christopher Hitchens- A Conscious Fraud?

Christopher Hitchens is dying of cancer and has declared that if there is a deathbed conversion, it won't be be him talking but the disease. Hitchens is very critical of Christianity and religion, and has gone on record many times with rather harsh words for both. Is this the real Hitchens? Or, is all of this merely an act?
