Sitting in the dark,
Waiting to be found,
Sitting in the dark,
Where no one can see you frown.

Then the light glitters in,
Seeing your face once again.
Coming into the light embracing the warmth making it your own,
Waiting to go home.

I embrace you in my arms,
Your eyes start to tear,
Whipping them away now you know I’m here.
Carrying you home your face forms a smile,

Seeing it gives me the strength to carry you for miles.
Sleeping in my arms as peaceful as an angle.
Laying you in bed, leaving you to rest your head.
