Christmas Lectures 2012 - Floating on Xenon

Dr Peter Wothers demonstrates the remarkable properties of the chemical element xenon with a unique experiment. A volunteer from the 2012 Christmas Lectures audience floats a gold boat filled with pure gold in a tank of xenon gas.
