You've lost your job
The credit crunch is putting you down
You pray to God till your knees ache
Then maybe you'll wake up without a frown

Everyone needs to believe in themselve
Everyone needs to smile
Theres a light beyond the tunnel
Just believe in yourself for awhile

Try to shine the whole day through
I'm sure things can mend
Just keep on believing
All you need is family and a good old friend

I wish we didn't have horrid people
Racist. cruel, even more
If it helps, I will believe
And pray to God until my knees are sore

Believe, Believe, Believe, Believe
Try, Try, Try, Try
Do whatever it takes
Just don't sit and wonder why
