Christian Benitez - Lost

People who are lost,
are consigned to oblivion.
They wither away,
in pools of regret.
Forever trapped by their
conscience-stricken thoughts.
They squander their lives,
wondering what they did wrong.
But they never discover
what they are truly guilty of.
People who are lost,
die in shame.
Because they never thought,
of a way to outlive
their misfortune.
