Chrissy Robinson - Falling

The taste of alcohol and cigarettes
still spitefully on my breath,
I catch myself whispering to no one.
My heart blurs what I cannot even see.
The pain is insufferable,
a knife across eager veins.
My soul yearning for what it never fully possessed.
All alone I am falling.
Faster, harder,
relentlessly.
Falling to pieces.
