Chris Sterling - thoughts

And I woke up at your front door again
Wondering how I always seem to end up back with you
But I guess I shouldn’t write music to those words I don’t know
Or phrases about not having enough time
When none of us ever had any time
So I ask myself why we fight for things we will never live to see
When we could so easily lay back and enjoy
All the things that were given to us for free
But maybe im just thinking too much
Maybe I just don’t want to work
For people that I don’t respect or would never support
