Music soothes the soul
Yet can bring so many other emotions as well
When I am feeling alone and sad
I listen to my music
The promises of God
Worshipping Him
I feel hope once again
Music is my release
It sets me free
It brings me such joy
It brings me healing
I listen to the sounds and words
Taking it all in
Music, singing
It fills my life
Music has much power
And I want it to be pleasing to my Lord
Honouring Him
Bringing me closer to Him
Music fills my heart
Wrapping itself around me
I would be lost without it
