Chris Brown's positive report

Chris Brown appeared in court on August 13 as part of his ongoing probation for the 2009 beating of his then-girlfriend, Rihanna.

Brown received a good progress report from the Los Angeles Superior Court Judge, who said the R&B singer was in full compliance with the terms of his probation and all of his random blood tests had come back negative.

As a result, the number of Brown's weekly blood tests was reduced from three, to two.

Another progress report hearing is scheduled for October 23rd.
