Chloe White - Spring

Description
Ready to take on what came my way,
I opened my eyes and there it stood,
A radiant blossom tree in the woods,
Never have I seen such scenes,
Flowers popping at the seams,
I have never seen spring in these proportions,
Vines creating small contortions,
On the grass the dew lays still,
And vases on the window sill,
Full of flowers, all colours and shapes,
Beautiful petals that hang like capes,
But now it’s all gone and darkness arrives,
Into the night everything hides,
From flower beds to owls that hoot,
And little mice that run and scoot,
But now I feel drowsy, dreamy and tired,
So goodnight spring day that I truly admired
