Chloe Mishler - Three Virtues

In life,
both shadow and light may be found.
Melancholy mingles among every thought,
poisoning joy, happiness, and contentment.
Only true faith and peace,
have the power to heal.
The power to heal a troubled mind,
or a poisoned heart.
Faith, peace, and acceptance heal,
what tragedy, pain, and loss,
leave in their wake.
The mind is released from it's prison of grief and endless questions,
the holes in the heart are filled with reason,
and an unshakeable love.
Everything is made anew,
through acceptance, peace, and faith.
