remember me whole and strong
remember me happy and fun
with a smile on my face
as i cared for you that day
remember me as the good friend
who doesnt turn his back
cause i never have
thats the way it is, has always been
remember me suprising you
as i sometimes do
i may not be the best
but i did try
remember im not perfect
and i have lied
remember in such a way
that you might portray
remember me instead of reaching
and if you ever want to talk
please remember me instead
the child in me is dead
