Quite a sight has appeared in one man's basement--a huge number of fish. How did they get there? Let's take a look.

Since Tuesday, nearly 600 pounds of fish are appearing from an underground spring after two days of heavy rain in the southwest city of Chongqing.

The fish—known as discogobio yunnanensis—came from an underground river in a villager's basement.

According to Chinese state media report, Li Xianhui from the town of Ningchang says the Daning River near his house has swelled up over the past two days.

[Li Xianhui, Villager in Ningchang Town]:
"The river level has risen after two days of strong rainstorm. Now it's time for a large amount of the fish to come out."

Li and his wife watch the fish shoal, which has turned into the latest scenic spot. Li says he will not sell the fish because they are attracting many tourists.
