Chinese boy gets hand stuck in escalator
Description
Footage has emerged of a boy getting his hand stuck in an escalator at a shopping mall in northern China.
Mobile phone video of a screen showing CCTV of the incident, captured in Jilin City in Jilin Province on September 9, shows a boy releasing his hand from his mother's grip and then sitting on the escalator.
He then suddenly gets his hand trapped into the side of the escalator.
Another woman quickly gets off the escalator, pushing a button and bringing it to a halt.
Mobile phone video also showed a close-up of the boy's hand stuck in the side of the elevator and scenes from inside hospital, where the boy received treatment.
The injuries were not serious, according to local media.
