China Test-fires Liquid Propellent Rocket Engine With Largest Thrust For First Time

China has tested a liquid oxygen-kerosene engine that "has the largest thrust in the country" at over 500 tonnes, according to China Central Television (CCTV). The engine was developed by the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.
