STORY: Strong swells are causing havoc along the Chilean coast triggering a dramatic rescue from a stranded cargo ship.

Due to strong currents, the Ocean Breeze cargo ship was stranded a few meters from the beach of Llolleo town.

The navy had to send helicopters to rescue eight out of the 24 crew on board the cargo ship, which is carrying wheat and soy, while specialized teams, are trying to figure out the best way to move the ship out of its dangerous position.
