Chile: Teachers Vote to Continue Strike

Chilean teachers voted yesterday to continue their strike, now in its second week, against the government's educational reform. While government negotiators accepted some of the teachers' union's demands, the education reform bill still contains the salary scale based on seniority and the controversial teacher evaluation exams.
