Chile: Student Protests Demand Educational Reform

Thousands of Chilean students took to the streets to demand educational reforms and to protest police repression. Three demonstrations have been called in the country's capital to demand quality public education. As part of the protest, journalism and cinema students occupied the offices of the national TV station, denouncing the mainstream media for supporting the repression against the movement. teleSUR
