Chile: Bachelet to proceed with educational reforms

Chilean President Michelle Bachelet has signaled her intention to proceed with the education reforms she started in the Council of Ministers. Amid sagging popularity and a much questioned educational reform, Bachelet said her intention was not to financially hurt Chilean families, and would in fact boost the education budget by 65% next year. teleSUR
