Childcare In Crisis
Description
As many schools reopen their classrooms this Fall parents across the nation are breathing a sigh of relief. But for those with children too young to go to school, childcare is proving difficult to come by. A serious staffing shortage is impounding an industry already on its knees. How can the childcare sector survive? Dr. Marcy Whitebook of Berkeley's Center for the Study of Child Care Employment and David Kolczynski the owner of Rochester, NY based daycare centers 'Care A Lot Child Care' weigh in.
