Chicken Bhuna Masala

This chicken preparation is unique - without Tomatoes and yogurt.

Shallow fried Chicken is cooked in freshly roasted and ground spices, freshly cut green chilies and a lot of onions.

The preparation is usually dry or very thick spicy gravy and it’s just irresistible.

Ingredients

1 Kg chicken Marinated for 15 to 20 minutes
Ginger Garlic Paste
Kashmiri Red Chili Powder 1 TSP
Salt 1 TSP
Coriander Powder 2 TSPs
Vinegar 2 TSPs

For Dry roasted Spices (Use only 3 TSPs of the finally ground spices)
Coriander Seeds 4 TSPs
Cumin Seeds 2 TSPs
Cardamom Green 4
Cardamom Black 2
Cinnamon Stick 1
Black Peppercorns – 2 TSPs
Cloves 1 TSP
Whole Red Dried Paprika 2

Shallow Fry Chicken in
4TBSPs Oil
10 Grams Butter

Main dish Preparation
Green Chilis 2 to 3 Chopped
Onions 4 Chopped
Fennel Powder 2 TSPs
Salt 1 TSP (or as per taste)
More Kashmiri Red Chili Powder – It is optional
Garnish with Coriander Leaves

Serve with Roti or Indian Bread
