Chi - The Butter-fly

You would think she is
a fashion connoisseur,
the dainty butterfly,
the way she sits on the line
above my sister’s dresses
flopping her wings,
wondering which dress looks best
against the bright blue sky!

Sometimes she simply dreams
of where to find a little nectar
maybe sweeter than the one
she last sipped.
