Chez ... - A Borderline Perspective

I am hated.
I am lost.
Can't take the future,
Can’t take the past.
Do you see what I see?
A world full of selfish hate-filled people,
They're all the same,
Pathetic and narrow minded.
Am I any different?

Try to understand me,
When I say I love you,
When I say I hate you.
Do you understand?
I don’t mean everything I say.
I am two people,
Fighting to escape my body.
Please don’t leave me.

I am on top of the world.
I am falling to the ground.
Running in circles again.
There’s a demon inside of me.
I never meant to hurt you.
I’ll get better.
I promise.

Should I leave?
Or should I stay?
To me this life is worthless.
They'll never understand,
You're all the same.

I am emotionless.
I am sick.
Prescribed pills.
Am I broken?
Or is there hope?
This is a doctors’ last resort.
I can’t feel.
There’s nothing inside.
Am I even real?

Do I need these pills?
Or am I fine?
I am empty now.
This isn't what I wanted.
Please awake me,
From this nightmare,
And tell me that everything is fine.

I am everything.
I am nothing.
Just another broken soul.
You could never understand.
They can’t fix me.
