No one to hold

Come back to me
My lover you see
I miss you here
I shed a tear

I want you back
Somehow I lack
The power to bring you here
So I shed another tear

You can not come back
From that place where you lay
Belongings in a sack
I watch at bay

By dawn
You are gone
Never to return
So I must learn
To live without you
And just wonder who
You are with now
I still wonder how

Why did you leave me
I could not see
You lying alone
In that room
With that tone

It is to late
For now you are gone
I can only watch the date
Of which your life was drawn

You were put in the ground
Because you were dead
And all I could do was sit on my bed
As everyone frowned

You left me here
All alone
No one to hold
