I hate the feeling
When something is important to you
And then whatever it was that was important
Gets shattered because someone else thought it wasn't important
You think they're on the same page
You think it's as important to them as it is to you
But then they act like it's no big deal
Like it's just another meaningless dream
Then they leave you in the dust
Leave you there circled in shock
Wondering why they thought it was nothing
Wondering if they care about you
Feeling dumb
Because to you it was everything
But to them
It was and meant nothing
