Can darkness define you
Can it come hold your hand
Can it take you and lead you
Through the miles of land
Can it open your mouth
Can it say what you mean
Can it hurts ones around you
Or crush down a dream
Can it hear through your ears
Can it block out what's bad
Can it keep out the happy words
And leave nothing but sad
Can it look through your eyes
Can it see what you see
Because right now darkness
Is staring right into me
