Devoid of everything that should matter
Yell in victory should my heart splatter
Yell because you have mastered the art
The art of tearing me apart

As the days pass by
Cauterize my heart on the sly
Never let me feel alive
Crush my soul so that I'll never survive

Pester me with lies
So that I may cross out my eyes
Leave me hollow, fragile, and frail
So that when help comes it will be to no avail

Ignore my pleading cries of, 'MERCY! '
Never leave me be
Obliterate everything I have left
Cover it up and let them label you 'deft'
