Chessica Mace - Mommy, why?

I heard the softness of your voice, i heard the beating of your heart.
I thought we were so close right from the very start.
Time went by so slowly and i began to grow.
I had a heart, a face like yours, ten fingers, and ten toes.

Once i heard you crying and i wondered what was wrong.
You cried throughout the night, it seemed so very long.
I remember a strange feeling, i don't know what it was.
I thought, this is my mommy, she'll protect me with her love.

The pain, it hurt, i cried so hard, mommy, help me please!
Yes, i could feel everything. Is that so hard to believe?
My heart it stopped, the pain was gone, not a chance to say goodbye.
My last thoughts were of you: I would have loved you mommy. Why?
