cherassery damodaran binish - The Last Bath
13 Views • Jun 17, 2014
Description
Small, but weeping with hands wet
Crows flew, and faltered aloud
Echoed at my statue with no sweat.
Songs of the past chimed in my ears
Friends in my life smiled the last
Along with the water there is tears
And when men remember, the futility of lust.
And when they wipe even the last drop
On my body, even if it's like a pillar
The mighty sun as if in a cellar
With clouds around as if it lost the hope.
They decorated my body with new dress
Its aroma emerging from a deep pain
Screams grew larger, but in vain
And a coffin smiled, with no stress.
All those mud with the remnants of the past
From those pit made for my sleep, the last.
I was saying, ill be always with you
When mud was pouring, with love, i knew.
I was saying, ill be always with you
Deep in the ground always loving you.
