Cher Lloyd v. Simon Cowell!

X Factor's Cher Lloyd is rumoured to have clashed with the show's judge Simon Cowell over her music.

The teenager is currently signed to Cowell's record label Syco, but has apparently expressed that she wants to take control of her career.

Lloyd is reported as saying that she feels stifled by Cowell's organisation and is bored of the "bubblegum" pop records that Cowell wants her to record. The singer allegedly told Cowell that she wants to do things her own way.

Cher came fourth in the 2010 competition and is currently in America. There are rumours that she has been spotted by US superstar Jay Z who is interested in signing her to his label.

Sources within Cowell's company are reported as accusing her of "heavy duty" tantrums, claiming she is unable to respect authority.

During the reality TV competition, the Marlborough teen was accused of backstage rants at the show's stylists and at mentor Cheryl Cole.
