Chelsea Meigs - Dark and Light

All around me Darkness rolls
No Light shines through as it unfolds
Just as if the King foretold
A palace of pain and not of gold

Listen to him I did not
Put no trust in those Dark thoughts
Dark and Light must have fought
This answer is not what we sought

A huge mistake we have made
We did just what the King forebade
We crawled into that deep, Dark cave
In this pain we're forced to bathe

A warning I must give to you
Down to Earth the demons flew

And the King of Dark and Light
Will come and steal your soul tonight
