All I Did
was love you
care for you
send you a daily text
for three weeks.

All I did
was tell people
about you,
saying that
I was sure
you were
the one.

All I would have done
was love you and remind
you of my love for you
every day.
You think you're too good for me,
better looking,
better off without me.

I'm realizing this and
realizing the one
would never use
people to
boost his ego.

I wish you the best
as I walk away
from what
might have been.
Believe me,
