Value Partners Group Chairman and Co-Chief Investment Officer Datuk Seri Cheah Cheng Hye says the effect of China's capital controls would not be serious as the country's foreign exchange reserves increased by US$7bil to US$3trillion in Feb 2017 from US$2.9 trillion in Jan 2017.
