Ché Keet is an electronic pop/rock artist originally from Midrand. His music roots stem from an early age. He began piano lessons at the age of 10, which is what he credits for his knowledge of musical theory. He began writing his own songs at the age of 12 and was heavily invested in choir practice as well as drama classes by highschool. It was around this time where he also started involving himself in digital music production, and he has been honing this skill right through his tertiary education which involved drama and theatre (which helped him develop his eccentric and unique style).

Although Ché doesn’t directly model himself after any performer, he has a wide range of influences including Breathe Carolina, Lady Gaga, Cobra Starship, Phixx, Grace Jones, Beyonce, Madonna, Prince and many others. Hey Lexi, his debut single, is set to be released in late Spring of this year, followed by an EP release.
