Chatham Protest Video

Next tonight, more than 200 people have been gathering this evening to protest outside a Medway Council meeting.

From those campaigning to protect jobs at Chatham Docks, to those saying no to more housing developments in the Hoo Peninsula, many are calling for council leader Alan Jarrett to resign.

This is despite the local plan not being discussed tonight which could mean some proposals are now being reconsidered.

Rochester and Strood MP Kelly Tolhurst joined campaigners.
